BCBA

Amy Oakes is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) located in New Palestine. She has been practicing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy since 2011. In January 2013, she earned her BCBA certification after completing her Master’s degree in ABA from Ball State University. Amy is passionate about providing high quality services for individuals with autism and their families. She has a background of treating clients in their most appropriate setting, whether that is in their homes, schools, or in a clinic setting. Amy believes it is crucial to begin planning for a transition of services at the outset of treatment and to revisit that plan often to guide treatment.

Amy is dedicated to providing parent and caregiver training that facilitates lasting outcomes for the individuals she serves. She realizes the importance of frequent and continual staff training and feedback to better support both the learner and their staff. Amy’s vision is to continue providing effective and appropriate treatment while collaborating with parents, caregivers, educators, and service providers. In her leisure time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, gardening, sewing, and reading.
